While painting is the ultimate way to artistically interpret a photo, there are others as well. Earlier posts of this blog have shown some of my black and white efforts, and in this photo I’ve used a selective soft focus effect on the edges of the daisy and the background. The focal point is the center of the flower, which I have left in focus. I don’t like to over process my photos, opting for more subtle effects.
