To get the look you want sometimes, you have to enhance what is there; digitally. While the lighting in the original photo is what drew me to this scene in the first place, it still needed some extra “drama” to get the effect I envisioned. This was done using the lighting tool in Painter, which gave me just the look I was after. I used the funky chunky, my sculpting chalk and smeary flat variants for this painting.
