Since the Autumn colors were so lousy, I haven’t had many photos to paint this Winter. Therefore, I will be dipping into the “archives” and show you some of my earlier stuff. In Jeremy Sutton’s “Painter Creativity” book, he has an exercises where he wants the user to “paint what they feel”. This was my attempt and while I’m not a big fan of abstract art, I think this one worked out pretty well. It’s kind of a color vs. texture thing, and I used a brush called Sherron’s blender wood. I also did some blending of colors to smooth out some spots.
